No. 01 Hello

First post is here! We’ll get right to it*.

We’re including what we’re listening to, what we’re reading + resources for growing/understanding your creative muscles. Our hope is you find it unique, helpful + enjoyable. We don’t have affiliate links + if we ever do, we’ll let you know. These are just our genuine recommendations. Let’s go…

What We’re Listening To

For Drew… Tame Impala’s newest album, The Slow Rush. He’s enjoying that the repeat listens are proving this album to be rich + layered.

For Lyndsi… A Boy and His Kite. Such an easy album to put on when you need the environment to feel peaceful. Bonus: they have a second album in the works…

Creative Resources

Josie Lewis, a Minneapolis based artist, has read up on + experienced the correlation between artistic flow + its effect on our brain. View her TEDX talk below + visit her website. She has awesome resources for artists specifically, but finding flow is for everyone. Some amazing finds are her watercolor for rebels course + her mesmerizing videos on Instagram + YouTube.

*This whole ‘blog’ will be written with brevity in mind. We want to get to the point because you just want the info, right? If you’ve ever searched for a recipe on a blog post, finding the ingredients + instructions is a nightmare. We get it, there’s a whole long story about how Japanese eggplants are really better than standard eggplants for your ratatouille recipe that was handed down on your maternal grandmother’s side for 75 years. Cool. Not here. Enjoy.
